Too far away for us , but they will ignore all criticisms as they have in the magazine and on facebook. It's a done deal and time will tell how many of us jump ship. We've had some lovely holidays on club sites but the prices now do not compare favourably with commercial sites who do 'specials' for 7 days. What is the advantage of club membership?

We MAY go, not sure yet. If we do, I'll certainly speak to them and also tell them I'm cancelling our membership. It's due at the end of March and I have looked to see whether we should give it another go, but looking at Delamere the price has gone up by nearly £1.50 a night, and that is in January! So in mid and high season it will be even more, so no thank you.
We don't use the C&CC sites as much as the CC sites anyway, so the new pricing structure has made our minds up.
As has been said earlier in this thread, there are other sites, which are as good or even better, so I'm not wasting another £40+ on membership.
Done deal for us, Direct Debit cancelled and message sent as to why we don't wish to renew at the end of Feb.
We just about covered our £40 membership fee in the last couple of year by cheap low season weekends on sites fairly close to home. That's going to be just about impossible now so the £40 can be better spent elsewhere.

As a matter of interest, has any other member written to the Magazine Forum to ask the direct question of when the consultation that reportedly took place with members occurred; the number of types of members involved and the manner in which the questions were laid out? I've done so but not had any acknowledgement like one used to do of receipt, even though they won't necessarily publish.
