OH has been lucky enough to have a ticket for the snooker final on April 19th (so I will be a snooker widow). Can anyone recommend a site (preferably a CL or CS, must have ehu) not too far away? Where in Shefflled is the Crucible anyway?

Thanks. We are going to stay at Springvale Farm near Rotherham, ir's only 10 miles from Sheffield, stayed there before en route to Durham. Cheap and cheerful and does have ehu (can't remember how I found that out as it's not mentioned anywhere).

Thanks, anyway, changed my mind and we have booked Horseshoe Lake at Wales as it has a shower, cafe and will accommodate extra people for £2 each per night. OH now tells me it's the semi final, not the final.
Hi, we live just down the road from this site (Horseshoe Lake). I know you have said that OH won't use public transport, but there's a good train service to Sheffield, the train station is 5 minutes by car from the site, the trains run hourly at least, maybe more, and it's about a 10 minute walk from Sheffield train station to the Crucible xx
Thanks, but it might be too late for trains for the return journey. If not, he would probably use it, as his mates will be there to jolly him along, but probably won't take the chance.
