I don't know if this has already been posted. Thorpe Woods camping in the forest site near Thetford is now closed to touring Caravans it is being re-developed for Holiday lodges only ,so another good Basic forest site lost.

Oh dear, I hadn't seen that was going on but just been reading up on it. Seems like Spiers House closes this week as well.

There also appears to be questionmarks over Beddgelert too and who owns the lease for the site.

Camping in the Forest seems to have got the short end of the Forest Holidays split/merger/takeover stuff.

Forset Holidays also closed their site at Ardgarten, that was a great site on the shores of Loch Long.
