We are looking to go to the Peak District next summer. Can anyone recommend a site that has direct access to cycle paths.

Rivendale, between Ashbourne and Buxton has access onto the Tissington Trail. It's just across the road from the entrance.

Bruntcliffe Farm CL, right on the high peak trail which in turn joins the Tissington trail just below parsley hay. this is a nice site we use it a lot but you need to be self contained as there are no facilities other than water and chem disp. Alternatively Rivendale is a few hundred yards from Tissington trail.

Makes me want to start booking myself. Not used Bruntcliff but have used Rivendale. There's one at Biggin just behind the Waterloo pub, used that a few years ago.

Callow top has direct access to tissington trial. Lots of facilities on site too if that's what you like.

The Pennine Bridle way runs right past the entrance to Beech Croft Farm- and just a 15 minute bike ride down the Pennine Bridleway and you are onto the newly opened Monsal Trail which you can cycle all the way to Bakewell which is a beautiful market town.
Pennine Bridleway and Monsal Trail- FANTASTIC!! :)
