Everywhere seems to be fully booked on the CC sites. Looking for a site within 1.5 hours of Wolverhampton. Any ideas?

Don't like the sound of that. Was going to get away that weekend to a CC site.
Mind you a friend couldn't book Longleat for Oct half term and then a load of space came up the week before. I think a lot of CC members book loads of sites throughout the year and then decide against it last minute. I suppose that is the nature of the beast when there is no deposit and a 72 hour cancellation policy.

Thanks Guys, but been away for a few days. I have persuaded our friends to travel a little further and we are off to the best site in the world.....Fforest fields, well it's my favourite.

We've booked Fforest Fields at the back end of May for 2 nights.  Never been but seen the fab reviews on here so really looking forward to it.  Have booked the sunshine too - although at the moment, here in Cornwall, that seems far far away!!

have given up on the club sites both of them you can not get on with block booking, at peak times and weekends and as for family at week ends well there is lots on here re that look at sites on here there are some great sites that like families and working people so a weekend is a full weekend, ok on bank holidays you have 3 nights but it can be cheaper.
1.5 hrs of wolves there are hundreds but post what sort of site and make up of party and interests.
