Don't know how far you want to travel but if you haven't got kids I can recommend Wyton Lakes just outside Huntingdon. Lovely site, adults only with fishing lakes and a riverside frontage, and all the caravan and motorhome pitches are hard standing and serviced.

From what we saw and hearing the rumours that were going round...
They were installing LOADS more statics, not much space left for tents and tourers.
The residents in the log cabins weren't happy as they had been recently been taken over and the new owners had some wild idea the they would be turning it from a 'Country Park, to some kind of 'leisure park'.
The club house - if you could call it that was old and dated, and the evening entertainment for the kids supposedly was of 'get up and leave' standard'.
We just didn't enjoy it. The place was 'bland', and if you did want to go anywhere, it was anywhere from a 45 minute drive away to anywhere.
We tend to favour fully serviced as well. There is a option to search for fully serviced pitches , on this web site, there seem to quite few in all regions .

Hubby liked that one as he loves plane spotting so would go off for the day and I just chilled in caravan we live in Grimsby there doesn't seem a huge amount round this area either
We stayed at Grange Leisure Park in Mablethorpe last year. My review is on here. It was a lovely quiet but large site, with fishing lakes. We stayed in the tent field so I don't know if the caravan pitches are fully serviced (does that means with water and drainage?), but definitely hard standing with EHU. We're not into the commercial, noisy sites and it suited us.
We have actually booked Tattershall Lakes in May, but in a static (going with my mum who wouldn't camp in a tent).
