I was going to suggest somewhere Buxton / Bakewell area, some lovely sites and Sheffield easily commutable....

Nope....gave up trying to find a campsite, refuse to pay rip off (IMHO) prices at temporary sites and very luckily found a cottage for 4/6 for £60/75 a night just north of Halifax. Happy cycling fan here!!
