My son recently turned 20 and is wanting to go camping with 3 male friends aged 19.
They are good lads who just want to chill out together for a couple of nights - no rowdy partying or loud music!

These are their requirements;
Site needs to be within an hours drive of Scotch Corner
Site within walking distance of a town or village
A pub and somewhere they can get a hot meal or a takeaway
Toilet and shower facilities on site
Accepts single sex bookings

They will be staying in 2 smallish 3/4 berth tents and don't need electric hook up.

Can anyone recommend a suitable site that will accept 4 young men?

What about small site just on A19 at Potto turn off, just north of Northallerton, theres just a pub and toilet facilities on site, not far from village. think its White Swan pub. They could always book separately and have no problem anywhere.
Barnard Castle or Northallerton not too far either,

There's a campsite near Barnard Castle called Gallows Hill or something very similar, pub about a 15 minute walk, good facilities and also allows campfires, great little site.
