Having just come back to camping from caravaning we have just purchased the vango airbeam inspire 600. The only problem is, we are looking for a lovely clean campsite in cornwall but everywhere we are ringing says there pitches are to small. Can anyone recommend a lovely clean site with electric and spotless toilets please.

We go to Cornwall nearly every weekend living only a short distance away....just asking what do you look for in a site? Do you want rural? Coastal? Quiet with no on site facilities or a "bells and whistles" type site with pool etc? Might narrow it down a bit.
We are going to Tregarton Park, we've just purchased the Inspire 500, not a great deal smaller I don't think?. It also states on the label of the tent it's compatible and fits on The Camping & Caravan Clubs standard pitches?.
how many of you are using the inspire 500. the reason we went for the 600 was there is only 3 0f us but we needed to open the 2 bedrooms into 1 as our son is quite young a wont yet sleep in a pod on his own.
Can i ask what made you decide on the inspire 500 over the 600 we have put a deposit on the 600 but have not yet paid for it. our thoughts were we could keep the spare pod to put clothing , toilet etc in.
Just the size of it really, there is only 70cm in width & 25cm length difference between the two. It was a little cheaper along with the carpet & footprint. And of course it fits on all pitches. We loved the space of the tent and I'll be cooking in the porch so it'll be perfect for are needs. I have a cupboard for clothes etc
Not sure if it's the type of site your looking for but Haven in perranporth has extra large pitches with EHU.
The toilet blocks are new and clean and the camping section is away from all the main facilities but great with kids if you want to use them. The beach is close although it is a bit of a walk up/down the cliff
We went last year for 2 weeks out of the school holidays and paid £200 for an XL pitch so great value
------------- I'm still trying to think of a witty comment!

Another vote for Tregarton Park, a lovely campsite and we stayed there last August for 10 nights.
Our tent is 27 feet long, and go camping with 3 families with equal sized tents, pitched together - ask for the pitches at the bottom left hand side of the site - with electric hook ups.
Can't fault this site and easy to get to Mevagesy, St Austell etc..
Just tell them when you call you need a large pitch.
We've had no problems with our 3 tents getting onto sites, outwell Vermont, hi gear corada 6 and Florida 6
Good luck
Sammy
Agree about Tollgate Farm - nice site and the showers were lovely (with a radio playing!).
Another site worth a mention is River Valley at London Apprentice. The site is family owned with a small indoor pool. Campsite borders a woodland trail (2 miles) which is off road and runs down to the beach at Pentewan. Cycle hire available (with trailers I think!)
