Hi
As usual I have left I till last minute was unsure if we was going to beable to get away. Anyway now we are free we got a campervan and a dog and looking for anywhere really would ideally like three hour drive at most from Lancashire any Idea on what's available anywhere on any campsites. Tried a few but fully booked.

You'll have more luck if you can manage without electric hookup. But we booked a few months ago and tried to adda friend to our booking and were told no chance (and that was 2 weeks ago)

Feel nostalgic (probably the wrong word) for the trailer tent, but love the caravan. "Camping" all year round is fantastic.

Depends whereabouts in Lancs you are as to what makes a 3 hour drive, but if you can get to Anglesey then Golden Sunset camping fields will have oodles of space. You don't book, you just turn up and pitch where you want - great views from most parts of the site, only a few minutes walk into the village and a 15 mins walk/5 mins drive to a great beach. Be aware though that the site is by no means posh - it does have facilities but definitely not five star, so if you don't mind something just a few steps above basic then you should have a good weekend there.

We have just opened a site here in Lincolnshire. We are a certified location for Motorcaravans and caravans (Motor Caravanners Club) non members are welcome. We are a basic site in the country 3 miles from the sea. Just fresh water and rubbish bins - no chemical emptying point. We have a wildlife pond and there are lovely walks around. We accept well behaved dogs too.

Keld Bunk Barn and Yurts in the Yorkshire Dales had a cancellation so had availability-with electric. That was a couple of days ago though so it's possibly gone now.
