where in London are you picking up the motorhome?
are you aware of the, (low emission zone) and the (congestion charge) in London
the hire company should inform you of these.
somerset ,dorset devon etc would be west from London
cornwall /devon for good beaches
cornwall the eden project, quaint fishing villages (mevagissey)
devon, torquay, paington,brixam
Dartmouth ,Dartmoor

Straight down the M3 heading towards The New Forest in Hampshire and then Dorset. Maybe join the Caravan Club and do a tour of their Southern club sites. That way you are guaranteed good quality clean site.
Head west on the A31 and A35, detouring at places such as Swanage, Corfe Castle and The Purbecks and Lyme Regis before heading towards Devon and Corwall. See how far you get but it's a lot to do in a week.
Have a lovely time.

Sadly you will get recommendations for every tourist spot in the southern half of England.

Do you want specific recommendations for camp sites or places that are "must see"?

Assuming you plrobably have plenty of beaches in Australia other world class "must see's" on my list would include

Stone henge - 3000 years of history stonehenge

Georgian city of Bath - 2000 years of history and stunning architecture from the Georgian period.

Historic Bristol and SS great Britain - the first Steam ship

HMS Victory at Portsmouth
HMS victory

And you stil have Dorset, devon & Cornwall to do.

Hi,

Somerset
Would be worth looking into Bristol.
Clifton Suspension Bridge.
SS Great Britain.
Wills Memorial Building Tower Tour.
Bath is 40 minutes from Bristol, you could take a look at the Roman Baths there.

Dorset,
Corfe Castle.
Portland Bill.
Pool Harbour.
Lulworth Castle, Lulworth Cove.
Abbotsburry.
Chesil Beach.
British Tank Museum.
Beauley Motor museum for cars.
The Donkey Sanctuary.

devon,cornwall
Clovelly.
Bodmin Moore, Bodmin Jail
Jamaica Inn.
Lands End and the Lizard.
Penzance
St Ives.
Falmouth

Wiltshire.
Would be worth heading back through Wiltshire on your way back to London, you could take in Stonehenge this way.

Back in time for tea.

Tony.

I'd say 7 days to do all that part of the country is not a lot of time, you could probably spend 7 days in each county and still not see it all.

You need to decide what sort of things you want to see and then plan around them.

I'm still trying to think of a witty comment!
