Hello all me again :)

quick question,
Does anyone know a nice plave in the peak district to go camping?
must have EHU and be dog friendly but thats about it.

i have been trying to find somewhere to go but i cant make heads or tails with all the brilliant and contrasting reviews on the "camp site search".

we have been looking at Bank House Farm in Derbyshire:

does any one have experiance of this place.

Try Rivendale, its a 2 min walk onto the Tissington trail so good for nice dog walks with lovely views. They have good camping field and facilities. Also a nice bar and restaurant on site. J x

Why not try Beech Croft Farm....very central to lots of places....Check out the reviews

sorry for not replying sooner, having some tech difficulty trying to find this post sometimes :)

i have been looking at beach croft and think that is were we are going to go for our first camp EVER!!

not a member of CC but will think about if once we have decided that camping is for us :) ( mainly the OH i have to convince :) )

i have seen Rivendale aswell....... soo many choices...

looking to go for 2/3 nights either Friday -monday or saturday - monday ( 23rd-26th May) bank hols.



another quick question if i may.

what sort of budget does everyone set when they go camping? e.g pitch costs ehu hook up costs. extre food/ nights out.

will need to bring cash with me as i wouldnt presume there will be a whole bunch of ATMs hanging around.
