Hi all, we are looking at camping when we attend an event at the Millenium stadium in cardiff in july. can anybody recommend a site which is in close proximity to the stadium or close to train stations that are easily accessible at around 9-10pm on a saturday night

Cardiff Caravan Park (yes, they will take tents!) is walkable from the Stadium - have a look on Google etc Maps.

Sorry, think I read somewhere that they tend to book up quickly for events.

I can't comment on the touring and camping facilities but we stayed at Trecco Bay for the Rugby League Magic Weekend twice a few years ago. You can drive to Bridgend and get a train from there into Cardiff, it was ideal for us, but like I say we weren't camping at the time, we stayed in a static, but the site is very nice.

Parc Bryn Bach ( reviewed on here) is a 10 minute drive from Rhymney station...Cardiff Central an hours journey, return fare approx £7 if that's any good.
