Hi

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help. We are a large group of families looking to camp together for a weekend in June. We would normally survive a weekend happily without a tv but we have just realised that our allotted weekend clashes with an England World Cup fixture! Can anyone recommend a campsite in the South East region that caters for large groups and has a clubhouse or pub nearby that might be playing matches (it's an 11pm kick off!!). I have tried the search engine on the website but none of those with pub access seem quite suitable for our group size or young children.

Or look for a site with free wi-fi and watch it on a laptop? Or do as we do when the golf is on that OH wants to watch - come home from holiday early... No? OK - I can think of plenty of sites with a games room that has a TV. But I've not been to SE England - Ripley is the farthest south that my knowledge of TV / games rooms goes (by Harrogate).

I think Vauxhall Holiday Park would show all the footie matches in their pub. The holiday park is surprisingly (or so we thought) very well run and clean and tidy, entertainment very good. Not in an area of outstanding beauty great fun for a short break! Not sure if they officially take groups but there were groups when we were there.
