Hi all just wondering has anyone been there this year , i am booked in there for mid july and noticed on there site that they were delaying the opening due to the amount of rainfall just wondering if anyone any info on the progress of drying out

Hiya, there are plenty of reviews of Rother Valley including one from 2014.

Failing that you could give the site a call and ask them how well their ground is drying out.

We went in the middle of the Easter holidays, and it was fine. I think they were just being cautious to avoid the pitches getting damaged.

Hi Exboyscout,

The King Family are correct we were being careful in March as the ground was very wet in patches as the South East had an exceptionally wet Winter!

We are mainly clay and dry out quickly so we're back to normal now.

We look forward to seeing you in July. We have ordered lots of sunshine!

Ex boyscout Rother Valley is a lovely little site with big pitches enjoy. Though unless it's changed the access with a caravan is very very tight. Ooh seen you have a tent you will be fine
