Hi.
Does anyone know of a cheap dog friendly campsite in Norfolk for a few nights in August? We have a folding camper so site can be with or without electrical hookup and toilet/shower block. We have 2 dogs. Within travelling distance to coast if possible.
Being cheaper the better is top priority.
Kind regards....

There is a CL listed under Holt in the CC called the Chicken Barn which would be just right. Lots of space lots of dog walks no chickens :-) and not expensive electrics but no toilets.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Not sure what you class as cheap but you could try Sandy Gulls at Mundesley. Dog friendly and on cliffs over looking the sea. Close beach access and beach below site is dog friendly all year round.
we stay at Whitwell Station (Reepham, Norfolk) most of the time a very relaxed site with loads of places to walk the dogs ,it is right on Marriots way, just off the Fakenham to Norwich road about halfway between the two so not to far to travel to the coast we do it most week ends, there are no hook ups at the moment or any showers but there is a bar at the station and toilets available there, just a short walk across the station yard, only £5 per night per unit details of site here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=13481
I do know that the 8th, 9th and 10th won't be available unless you book via the Reepham festival as the site is used for the festival camping that weekend.
------------- here today , where tomorrow?
yet another full timer,
Both of the clubs have good reasonably priced CLs/CSs around the Ludham area of the Norfolk Broads, most with good dog walking access along the many riverside footpaths and country lanes. The ones in the village are within walking distance of a decent pub, butchers and grocers, and theres a lovely old church to explore, where regular concerts, coffee mornings and events take place in the Village hall.
Prices including EHU are around £12pn for unit plus 2 people, bookings advisable as they are popular sites, especially at the height of the season.
