Looking for a nice site about60-90mins from Hartlepool, any suggestions would be great. Children's playground, toilets and showers would be good, entertainment too but not essential.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Not sure how far Filey is but we've been camping at reighton sands and it was great, near the beach, lots of entertainment, good showers etc but it's still quite a small site compared ot the others so it's not too full on.
Could try Waren Park at Bamburgh cracking site,
Near Alnwick Castle(Harry Potter)filmed there,
Holy Island and great fish supper at Seahouses.
Small bar/restaurant..
outdoor pool if your're brave!!..
Riverside at Wooler. 2 playgrounds, 1 massive at the top, a pool and bar on site (just over the road so keeps it peaceful, and Wooler is a lovely town. They have entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights and during the holidays. There's also a river through the site for fishing with nets/plodging.
