I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere Saundersfoot or Amroth way ? I'm not bothered about a club house or anything as it's just me , beloved and dogs . I would like somewhere with tidy loos and showers , walking distance to a pub, perhaps nice view and that's about it . We live in Swansea so would like a bolt hole to get to fairly quickly on a Friday , here's hoping . Thanks

We've stayed at Hillcroft, a CL in Kilgetty quite a few times, it's a very well kept small site and just £13 a night. Saundersfoot is about a mile or so walk

Looking at the 'Camp Site Search' section, this particular site is for Caravan Club members only but at £13.50 per night including Electric hook up is excellent. Just thought it was useful information for the OP in case they are not CC members that's all.

We stayed at wisemans bridge about a year ago,lovely location only 100 yds from beach,50m from pub,all dog friendly and a 20min stroll along path into saundersfoot,BUT when we stayed the toilets and showers were dreadful,smelly and dirty,dont know if its improved over the last 12 months,such a shame as its a nice site in a good location

Thanks I will look up those suggestions - tho probably not the dirty toilets one !! It's so short sited not keeping facilities clean it's bound to put people off. ! Although we will be in a caravan it's much easier to use the site facilities
