hello me and partner and our dog are wanting to go away last week of July but we would like a campsite with a dog friendly beech so we can walk our dog on the sand any recommendations please?

Dumfries & Galloway - Sandyhills Bay is beside.... a bay. Brighouse Bay ditto. Both huge, clean, and almost deserted beaches, our dog loved them; other beaches in easy driving distance from these. About 3-4 hours max drive from Manchester (don't know time from Walsall). There are other sites by beaches further north, but probably too far for you to consider. Fabulous beaches in Northumberland but I can't recall ones with a site right beside them like these two in SW Scotland.

If you fancy going to Whitby then click on the link in my first post then click on circle No. 4 as it gives information about the town including information on dogs on beaches.
We've stopped at Ladycross Plantation in the past, it's about 6 miles outside Whitby at Egton. Last stayed about 3 years ago but it's a really nice woodland site with a woodland dog walk and good facilities, but not really much else to do without using the car.
A lot of people recommend Broadings Farm which is about a 20 min walk from Whitby (uphill on the way back) but I'm not sure about road noise as the road it's on is quite busy.
Sand field house farm is in a good position aswell will sea views but I can imagine it gets proper windy.
Middlewood farm is actually at Robin Hoods bay which is just outside Whitby and is a pretty little village with a few shops and cafés and the beach is very popular with fossil hunters.
Whitby is a loveley place to visit and the dog friendly beach stretches from the beach huts at Whitby right up to Sandsend which is a good long walk. Also Whitby has quite a few dog friendly eating establishments-Humble Pie and Mash being one of our favourites.
Come to Whitby you'll love it!
