Hello

We are travelling down to Cornwall and are looking for a site just off the M5 around the Bristol area. Just need toilets. Does any have any recommendations?

Check out Tudor Caravan Park at Slimbridge. Easy access to M5 and close to the Wetland and Wildfowl trust if you want to see some ducks

I'd second that. Close enough to the motorway to keep the journey to plan, a nice pub for your evening meal, and a quiet friendly site.

Very similar area but much nicer location and much quieter is Passage Farm CL listed under Slimbridge. It is a large flat field with a choice of hard standing or grass, electrics, a toilet and shower, and free wifi. Great place.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Minnows - just off J27 (5 mins) at Sampford Peverill - we're there next week as an overnighter this time on our way to Cornwall but have stayed their for a midweek break, suits us with dogs as it has its own access to the towpath and you can access the pubs from the towpath for a meal if required

also stayed at Cornish Farm as that is where Vanbitz is located for the Motorhome alarm - nice level site with lovely clean shower facilities - J25 I believe

Another vote for Minnows - we've stayed there twice overnight en route to Cornwall. Walking on towpath next to the site to the village pubs is always a nice way to start your holiday

There was a Caravan Club site J26 Wellington, near to a nice pub too.

Ashe farm just off junc 25 is a good stopover will be using it again in August,nice little pub just down the lane
