Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I think you'll be fine with just quiet chatting. However, don't underestimate the powers of nature. Dawn chorus can be almost deafening (at least it was till I could take my hearing aids out!) Camping has a great effect on circadian rhythms - on quieter sites we've often been known to turn in at dusk, and sleep through till dawn - 10 hours in low season, less in summer.
While this sounds odd, it's a great way to de-stress away from assessments, QAA and research applications.
Unless the site has a complete silence after 10..well I wouldn't bother going and there are plenty.
Usually it is noise kept down to a minimum and most people stick to it with a hushed voice.Hope you find something that will suit your needs, it is amazing when the curfew hits people are overall very good.
I might be the only one but people pumping their air bed up past 12 is more common than people talking loudly or those packing at 5 am last weekend are as bad as those up talking and shouting at 12.
