We're going to France for a long weekend with our caravan in July and I'd like to break the journey by driving down the night before and staying over night at one of the services near the tunnel instead of getting everyone up at the crack of dawn.
As we've never done this before has anyone got any suggestions for which services to use and will we get much sleep or should I be buying everyone ear plugs (including the 2 dogs).
Thanks for your help.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
2 services on M20, one just after Maidstone, at J8, about 30miles before tunnel & the next at J11 only a few mins from tunnel. Both charge about £20 for overnight parking & both will probably be noisy with vehicle movements all night.
If you are heading toward Boulogne theres a motorway services on A16 10mins from tunnel with free parking if you fancy getting across to France the night before.
The services at junction 8 have a dedicated caravan area but the only trouble is that it tends to get full of other vehicles although you could be lucky. Have you thought about staying at Black Horse Farm which is only a fairly short distance from the Tunnel. They have a special transit area and the cost won't be much more than the services charge.

There's a cl site close to the tunnel that we nearly stayed at but a change of plan meant we did an afternoon crossing and stayed in France. The services near the tunnel exit dont or didnt have caravan parking, we did stay there for a few hours early one morning in the coach area. I would cross and stay in France.
weavers is that in the family area that you can leave it hitched up. Don't know when you were last there but this will be our fourth year there and the first couple we could stay hitched up, but the new hard stands everybody seems to have to unhitch. This is in the adults only section.

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
