We would like to visit Liverpool - ( am going through 'a visit a city ' phase )but can only find CC club certified sites, or Caravan Club sites, and am not a member of either. I have looked on Liverpool tourist site, but no camping mentioned.

Ideally, we would like to be within 5 miles of Liverpool. So if any of you know of such a site, info would be appreciated. We will need a dog friendly site.

For what type of unit, caravan or tent as you mentioned camping but your outfit in your profile is a Willerby static.

You could try Liverpool as a centre location then tick the boxes on the left what unit it is you have and what facilities are required.

We didn't find any non club sites on the Wirral side, so I would stay on the Liverpool side. There's a site called Formby Point reviewed on here sounds quite good.

How long are you thinking of staying for? Its possible that paying for CC membership might work out as not to bad value. Recently we stayed at the CC site at Southport and went into Liverpool by train from the town.
