I recently rehomed another dog...so now I have four furbabies!
I know some nice dog friendly camping sites. However not many sites take four dogs :-(
I was wondering if any of you lovely campers knew of any nice safe places where I could camp with my dogs. I would prefer somewhere near the North East if possible
I look forward to your replies x

Hi,
We're taking four mutts to Dwyros Campsite at Aberdaron in August. We went there last year with two and had the best time and can't wait to be back there again. Fabulous beach, nice walks and a great site as well.
Not North East but i'd say well worth the trek.
I don't know if you are a member of the C+CC Club but i don't believe they have any restrictions on the number of dogs you can take to their sites. Do check for yourself as i am just saying off the top of my head from memory thinking i have seen people with a number of dogs on site.
We used to camp with 3 most sites were fine if we rang ahead and reassured them we were responsible, we also kept numbers of sites where they would give us a reference as we used them frequently so as I said most sites were happy to give us a chance.
Not in the North East but Ferry Meadows CC site in Peterborough is brilliant for dogs. When we were there a couple of weeks ago a caravan arrived with six dogs, They were so well behaved you wouldn't have known they were there.
