Good afternoon,
Sorry if this topic has a section already - First post.

Trying to plan a last minute break away. We need a site that rents statics and allows campers (VW) on site too.
2 x families of four, small quiet park rather than haven etc. Preferably West Dorset onto South Devon area.

The reason is I have Muscular Dystrophy and need the security of the caravan to stand and sit and general mobility issues however I am not in a wheelchair.

ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated. (Names and numbers of sites, anything really.)

Hi Martin, welcome to ukcs, have you looked at the campsite search on here. It is very good and the reviews are honest and done by people that have been to to site. Also Google maps just type in campsites and move the map to the area you want and hey presto hundreds appear. Good luck:-)

Bowdens Crest
We are based in Somerset and have Statics & Pitches, we also have disabled toilet/shower facilities, which people in the statics are welcome to use as well as the campers.

Lemonford Caravan Park,Bickington Devon - site easy access to both Dartmoor and south coast. Has statics and camping pitches.

Woodovis Park, Tavistock - a bit further inland but again has both static vans to hire and camping/caravan pitches. Has indoor pool.

Harford Bridge, Tavistock - one of our favourite sites on the outskirts of Tavistock. Pretty location next to the river. Site again offers both types of what you are looking for.
