Sorry, I missed that bit...move the family to Porthleven!!
Try the camping and caravaning club site at Veryan or see if there are any CS's in the area, as it's not the largest area so not too many choices.

Hiya, I have just spent 11 days touring Cornwall and did not pre-book a single site. Yes I struggled a bit trying to find a site at Padstow, but for the rest of the tour I just went to an area and then I used the site search which works on your current location on a device and found plenty of sites to take us.

We stuck our heads into Treloan and although we did not stop there, so cannot comment on the facilities, just looking at the pitches and the views, in my opinion you made the better choice staying at Trewince. Enjoy your holiday and hope the sun shines as much for you as it did for us.
