Morning people of the camping world,as previous post new to the world of camping and really looking forward to our new venture in september.Does anyone know any sites down m5 corridor,somerset,north/south devon way where you can take the dogs into the pub so you can eat and drink,thanks in advance.....

It is unlikely you'd be able to find the "restaurant" section in pubs that allow dogs, however, many allow dogs in the bar section where bar food can be consumed.

The Elephants Nest at Horndon near Mary Tavy Tavistock welcomes well behaved dogs and their food is lovely. Beautiful old place with log fires in the colder months. A treat place for us, never been disappointed.

I find the campsite search reviews on here quite good at giving advice regarding pubs which allow dogs.

If unsure I just ask the site wardens/owners, although some can be a bit vague about where to go.
I then just ask around or nip into a pub and ask if dogs are allowed, generally most public bars allow dogs in my experience.

Anymore sites with pubs that allow dogs in so I can have a pint and a steak sandwich.....in the gloucster/somerset area.....ange ken I will be booking a couple of nights for mid sept at bowdons early next week......just sorting myself a campervan out.......tone
