Park Foot near Pooley Bridge has direct lake access to Ullswater, kids playground, stream running through the site, EHU available and walking distance to Pooley Bridge where there a couple of good pubs for food.
Aira Force is a fabulous place to visit on the other side of the lake (National Trust).
They have organised activities on site too!
