I am looking for a campsite in the Peak District that will allow a group of lads to camp unaccompanied by adults. They are all scout young leaders and all are seasoned campers, but are wanting to organise a group camp weekend for themselves, not at a scout site. Any ideas?

How about Mandale House in Lathkill Dale? They have a couple of DofE fields so may be open to a group booking. I think that we stopped at the Over Haddon campsite, also in Lathkill Dale, when I did my Chief Scout's Chalenge - but that was over twenty five years ago

Thank's for that, I'll try Mandale house first. I know Lathkill Dale well as have stayed at Ravenstor many times as a youngster.
