HI everyone, new to the forum and fairly new to camping been a few times with expert campers and once on our own, this will be our 2nd time alone, we are looking to go somewhere in the Selby area, we will be taking 2 teenagers with us, can anyone recommend a good camp site, that will keep them entertained and us adults aswell, we have a van with tent attached.

I am going myself this weekend. In the end I have plumped for Blackwood Hall, first choice was Cawood Caravan Park. I also heard Castle Inn is good.
Will let you know how I get on

There are a 2 or three sites close to York Marina. We have used Millbridge in the past but don't expect luxury in the loo/shower department! They were expecting to start a completely new block last time we went in May.
We live in Selby and I can't honestly think of site in Selby that would be ok for teenagars (have 3 ourselves, well 2 now eldest has gone off to uni). Sites we have gone for have been quiet sites that don't have much there. How far are you willing to travel and how big a site and what facilities are you looking for?

May 13 - Cala Gogo, St Cyprien (didn't go, hubby too ill to travel)
May 14 Ranc Davaine
August 14 Les Sablons
August 13 - Camping Playa Brava, Pals
Thanks everyone for your replies, we ended up at Naburn. Got to say it is a great site, bus to York right outside the site, cost £9.40 family of 4 return so great value for money! The only thing I would mention is the toilets, i'm sure they were locked at 11pm, but even so they are quite far in the dark and wouldn't like to head there on my own at 2am! We were in the field nearest to the toilets so if you were in the field at the bottom of the site you would have a right hike!
