I'm in need of help!
Im organising mini and junior rugby tour this year as I did last year but weve encountered a problem as the preferred site aren't taking any groups in 2015 even though we were welcomed back.
As its rugby it needs to be in march or april which also has easter hols in the middle of it and no one is offering us any of the weekends 27th march, 3rd or 10th of april apart from Butlins who want £300 for a 6 berth s/c chalet.
then to top it all off, if any of the rugby players siblings miss either the fri or mon they could face a £60 fine (previously this has been put down as sporting trip)
We are in south wales so 2 hour journey is preferable
tried trecco, kiln, quay west, burnham. running out of steam cause only ones that can take us wont take the u13's or u15's

HELP please????

So are you looking for camping pitches or caravans? If so how many units? For how many nights? Have you got the fixtures booked, or will you do that when you have accommodation sorted?

With that age group youre better off doing one of the festivals.  There is a very good one in Weston that uses Pontins at brean for accomodation.

Thanks were after about 50 statics fri to mon
fixtures we will sort around the place we end up but have contacts.
We have, 7's 8's 9's 11's, 13's & 15's.

I will look at the Brean /western tournament but if its the same as the butlins one few reasons why not
1. cost £89 each at the butlins one
2. always been a family event, price will prevent whole families going
3. one in butlins was on 3 different venues so if you had 3 kids of different ages playing, cant watch each of them.

So far still waiting on prices from haven for Weymouth,
unity to get back to me,
hoseasons same,
Parkdean have said no to any group over 12,
butlins have said yes but that's quite expensive.
Park resorts have asked for a meeting with me before they'll say yes????? I live 2.5 hours away and work full time I don't think so is the answer.

Try Shorefield Holidays. They have 4 of 5 sites on the south coast. They take rugby tours.
Also Rockley Park. We've been here before - approx 30 statics with no problem. They won't take you though if they already have another team booked onto site.

If its just accomodation you require then would one of the large budget hotel chains take you if you block booked the entire Hotel? I know of a darts tornement that blocked booked an entire large hotel at corporate rates including family rooms taking 4 people for around £25 per room per night.
The other option would be to look at youth hostels and dormatories in the area.
