Hi, can anyone recommend any nice quiet sites over looking the sea? pref. eastern side of the country and no further than yorkshire. We live in Norfolk and there is a site with clifftop views at Mundesley it's very nice but we dont want to go there all the time!

When are you thinking of going, this year or next? My favourite Norfolk site is at California, motorhomes are allowed on the camping field which is right on the cliff top overlooking the beach. It's only open during the season though, March to the end of September/early October. I was there for ten days last month and with the exception of one tent and one campervan I had the field to myself.

I was going ti suggest Sandy Gulls at Mundesley we use it every year and have done for the last 15 years but you already know about that one.

TIGERMOUSE, like the sound of california cliffs, not far from us either, will consider that next season.
IDMAINIAN Yes Sandy Gulls is the one we've been to several times. lovely view to wake up to. pity it's not a bit more level. but you can't have everything!

Have been to woodhill. thought it was a tad expensive and not a great layout. (it was several years ago). very popular site it seems. Like the sound of Robin Hoods bay. Thanks.
