Any particular areas as that's 2 very big counties. Even following along the border between them is 50 miles from Harwich/Felixstowe to Cambridgeshire.
When are you going as most sites with 'all the facilities' will be commercial ones and most will be closed now for winter. It does tend to be the smaller sites and CS/CL's which stay open over the winter.
Not so, many of the larger sites also stay open over the winter. But as above you need to be a bit more specific about the exact area you thinking of, because yes they are big counties with many sites.
Also are you a member of either the C&CC or the Caravan Club, because they have many sites in both counties.
We have a local site that is open all year with EHU, 'festival' toilet & showers (were clean when I popped in when they were busy and they get swapped out regularly as the hire company are based behind the site) £14 a night inc EHU here, not a lot local though
I'd second Heathland Beach! We went last May and it was superb. I reviewed it.
------------- april - Hurley riverside park 4 nights
May - Heathland Park, Kessingland 4 nights
July - Kings Lynn - 3 nights
July - Hurley Riverside Park - 2 nights
August - Normandy - 10 nights
2015 - booked 12 nights RCN lle femme and wells-next-sea both for August
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Thanks for your replies. One or two asked roughly where and when we wanted to go. It would be off-season next year, probably April or October, quite near to the coast. We are members of the Caravan Club.
Again you are spoilt for choice for coastal sites, so again it depends what type of site you are after. Is it all singing and dancing with activities or a quiet site situated on the coast. There are several of the latter in Suffolk and with some lovely scenic areas to visit. Essex coast is a bit more touristy with larger sites.

I imagine even popular commercial sites will be fairly quiet in April (after Easter week) and October, but why not have a look at Certificated Locations on Camp Site Search (listing includes C&CC Certificated Sites) and/or your CC list?
