Hi,

Could anyone help, we are looking for a camp-site with fishing on site in the Notts/Derbys/Lincs/Leicestershire area.

The site must accept pets, children and be open most of the year.

If you're a C & CC member then I can recommend Willow Lakes CS in NE Lincolnshire. Open all year, all pitches have ehu, there's a small fishing lake at the end of the site and a much larger lake down the path - and if you don't want to camp/caravan they have self catering cottages and log cabins overlooking both lakes. Only about seven miles from Cleethorpes so handy for a few hours out.

Alternatively Skipworth Arms, again in Lincs and open all year - small private site with a fishing lake just behind a pub which does nice meals. It's right by a railway line though so that could be a downside, although the trains didn't bother me when I stayed there.

There was a long thread about this a while ago, though I don't know how to link to it. I think they were looking for a fishing site in roughly the same area and there were lots of suggestions.

heres a starter search just double click on the map in other areas as dogs & fishing have already been selected, I didn't select 'open all year' as there are a few sites that are highly rated but closed for a month or two.
