I know that on some site if not most that when a van gets to a certain age it needs to be replaced and the owners buy a newer van, does the same apply with tourer's are all tourer's allowed on sites regardless of age or do some site have a van age limit,

I have a 1969 Fisher Holivan and have never been refused on a site due to her age (or anything else for that matter!)
I have never been asked for the age, make or model of my caravan when booking a site, although some do ask for length and whether or not I intend to use an awning.
The age limit often applies to statics and is often linked to the planning regulations of the site.
Whilst I have heard of this with statics never have with tourers. I think its quite interesting to have old caravans on campsites as it reminds us of days gone by the same if someone turns up with a vintage car as a tow car.
I have stayed on one site where older caravans over 3yrs old were required to provide an electric and gas safe certificate on arrival. This requirement was made clear in the booking conditions, and was implemented after a serious fire on the site the season before, which was traced to a caravans poor state of repair regarding its heating system.

I don't know why but some sites attract new shiny vans and others older vans (like mine). I haven't come across age restrictions for tourers on any site that I have used.
We were at a site recently where a family drew up with a gorgeous fully restored tiny classic caravan. No problem. Our MH is 22 years old, age has never been an issue but we keep it looking clean. But some sites allow their seasonals to get green with moss & mould, and let owners leave the awnings up to get faded & tattered, and that run-down feeling reflects badly on the rest of the site. The age limit for statics is entirely up to the site owner, local planning regs only cover how many months of the year the statics can be lived in (usually less than 12 months to prevent permanent occupancy).
