Hi we are in the process of buying a new caravan and cant decide on what to get, a twin or single axle ? Ive been told that it is harder to book a twin axle into a site as limited space for twins as opposed to a single axle. Is this correct ? We like the space inthe twins but dont want to be restricted by limited twin axle pitches on sites . Help !!

It's not usually a problem with twin axles; the Club books/websites will state a length restriction if any, and I imagine that the websites of commercial sites will too. Tell the site when enquiring if it's not clear. We love our twin axle.
we have an adria isonzo single axle 8.19 metres long and 2.45 metres wide.massive amounts of floor space.no issues with access or size of pitches. maybe in europe it will be an issue.
Hi thanks for the comments , really appreciated,we have been looking at a big swift conqueror645, its beautiful, we have a Chrysler 300c automatic srt design diesel, kerbweight is 1910kg the conqueror645 would be 94% of my car, do you think that would be ok as a match ?
Kerb weight for car 1910kg,plus 2 adults plus a boot full of gear, plus will you ever.load caravan to its max laden weight,??so differential will probably be better than 94%
The conqueror 645 MRO is 1622kg and MTPLM is 1900 so probably we would only load van to 1800 kg or so. If that was the case do you think that would be ok ?

Yes because your car with two adults plus say awning will weigh in about 2100kg, you can also look for public weighbridge load car 2 adults plus extras for true kerb weight.
