Have booked wild duck for 5 nights beginning 27 March for £51 inc electric, as others have said the children enjoy the swimming pool and I find the cooler weather helps keep the noisy people inside .
When the weather is nice and for our 2 week summer holiday I like to book small basic sites for both economy & noise levels, last years site got a bit noisy at the weekends but weekdays were fine.

I avoid big sites with pool, entertainment etc. We are off to Norfolk in July (school hols) £14 per night 4 of us in a caravan with electric, 2 dogs and awning. August it's Filey £15 per night.

Monks, where do you go in Filey. That's where I'm looking to book at Easter as near relatives. Was looking to book Thorpe hall as really good reviews.
We go to Saxdale House Farm it's actually at Hunmanby but it only takes 10 minutes in the car to get to Filey. This will be our fourth year of going here. The owners and wardens are great, facilities are clean, I know everyone's ideas of a good site are different but I would recommend Saxdale.

Sounds like a very good price for time of year and if it meets your family’s needs, why not?
Personally, not our family’s scene when kids were younger – one of the reasons we went to Loch Morlich – plenty to do on loch/shore, wildlife, short but fun walks/adventure trails (of our making), all of which were free but with paid attractions within easy reach. But then things have changed a lot in 15/20 years.

Thanks for the recommendation Monks. Really wanted at least a play park for the kids, so we don't have to rush off site.
Looking now at Southcliff in Brid, as works at £16 per night but the reviews are up and down.
After reading this thread, we looked into a Haven break. We couldn't believe the cost.....7 nights EHU , Awning, plus the passes for the clubhouse and entertainment. OK it is mid April, ( kids are back at school, but that is what we want ) All that for only £49.......how could we turn that down , I think the offer is for all Haven sites....

Decided to take a bit of a gamble and booked South Cliff at Bridlington. Came out £216 for 7 nights, but then looked at 8 nights from the day before and came out at £119, so can't go much wrong at less than £15 a night over Easter weekend.
last year I booked haven at clethorps up to 8 people for...£35 for 5 nights yes £35, if you book a few days b4 you go... a chance you take, well worth the 5h drive
