HELP!!!
wanting to take the campervan and kids to York for a few nights at Feb half term. Struggling to find anywhere. Any ideas??
I've tried Rowntree...fully booked
Most sites aren't open
The site needs to be near a bus stop or park and ride into York
Have EHU
Toilets and showers
Hope you can help!

Been a couple of times, close to Designer outlet park and ride and York Marina.
Toilet and showers were IMO a bit 'rustic but he did say he was building a new block - don't know if he has or not.

How about camping and caravan club site at Boroughbridge. It's open all year. It's half an hour drive to the new park and ride into York. Also nearby knaresborough. Harrogate. Ripon. The Dales, lots to do in the area. Boroughbridge has shops takeaway fish and chips. Nice riverside area for walks and picnic and plenty of pubs serving food. J x
Thanks jaiash will have a look at your suggestion. So far its wagtail site that we like but would consider a site a bit further sway from York if it had good train links into York. Sometimes the train is quicker than the bus!
Cheers
