Hi, anyone recommend any sites in south/west Wales which allow the frontier to be used?

I think the only way to find out is to contact the sites directly. I have a Frontier stove too and I have emailed sites in advance, describing the stove, pointing out that it stands clear of the ground, etc. and giving a link to the stove website.

Sites have generally responded with their own terms and conditions for using it. Only one site refused to allow it. Another had to refer the question on to the estate rangers first. They have all replied and I think they appreciated being asked first.

I have kept the permission emails just in case I turn up at a later date and someone new queries it.

A good starting point would be any site that allows campfires. Try

But i'd also recommend checking direct......and dont rule out asking any not on the list.

I added a wood burner to our bell tent for a trip last october, i approached 3 sites on our list of possible destinations and all said no.....the last did allow campfires and had no issues with us using the stove.

No idea what a frontier is, but Rhydywernen Farm near Brecon is a CS with a separate camping field which allows camp fires.
