Hi. I have been watching the new series of Robson Green in Northumberland and I looks an amazing place to visit with my family.
Can anybody recommend a good family campsite about with 5 miles from a beach.

This one is lovely

We've stayed two years running, Its about 5 minutes from Seahouses, you can take a boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands. Near to some lovely beaches and plenty to do in the area.

There are a few. Seafields in seahouses is right on the beach and has indoor swimming pool on site. One of our favourites. Glororum in Bamburgh is lovely too. Brand new touring facilities. South meadows at Belford is also lovely. Fabulous if you have children. Enjoy x

Belford has lovely site, not far from Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island. Fabulous area. In fact whole of Northumberland is beautiful. Gorgeous beaches, Castles galore, open spaces and lovely countryside. Lots of campsites to chose from

Thank you all for your great advice.
I have now booked South Meadows caravan site for 3 nights in May. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3159
I did try spring hill farm but they were fully booked already.
Looking forward to a trip to the inner Farne Islands and a day on Bamburgh Beach and visiting a couple of castles.
Fingers crossed the weather is kind to me.
