been to hillhead, the top of the site is better than the bottom of the site and some pitches in-between require warden assistance because of position but its a great site with entertainment and a pool for the kids.
also a bus stop right outside the gate for town whitch is great because parking in Brixham can be difficult
Loved my stay there.

Another vote for Hillhead. We've never been to the Orchards but if you are considering Devon, I would recommend this site. We stayed in one of the pitches screened off with hedging so the scenery wasn't as good but some pitches have beautiful views. I'd love to go back but we haven't had the chance to travel down that way.

been to both orchards is lovely super pitches the best,lovely pub within walking distance, hillhead as above also nice but not been for a few years,beauty of the orchards is going on the ferry a real feeling of adventure booked hillhead myself this may

Not been to Hill head but went to Galampton which is very near by. Was looking at alternatives to Galmpton for half term week as we went last year and really enjoyed the area. (See my review)

Hillhead was looking good but for us..

Still think Galmpton of being more rural suits US better (might not be the case for you). Just thought I'd suggest it though...
