How sad it is to read how dog owners have been treated. We have a springer and 2 kids. Leaving dog mess is not something we would ever do but even more so because we have kids. And our springer is friendly to a fault but we'd never let him run up to people as we appreciate some folks don't like dogs. Besides, he's only really interested in us unless somebody approaches him so tends to just ignore other people!

We don't take our dog camping because he's unwelcome virtually everywhere and with kids we need flexibility in case of bad weather.

Hearing dog wardens were stood at the bottom of steps handing out fines when there was no other safe route to the dog friendly beach is disgusting frankly.

We were think of having a change and staying around Hayle but after reading the disgusting treatment of responsible dog owners we will be staying put at Mawgan Porth and Treyarnon. Lots of happy dogs around and happy people.

What about Tollgate Farm? It is at Perranporth.
No dog stuff on site but saw dogs there. Has a 'farm' area with animals, play field etc. It is near the Haven place.

At Perranporth. Long walk over golf course and dunes to beach and very up up up hill to get back. Did the walk with pushchair, 1.5, 4 and 6 year old.

Perranporth beach does have dogs on it. Might be best to check their website in case it has changed now.
