I'm trying to keep my dog and my son happy on our camping holidays. he wants to go into the entertainment but we can't leave the dog in the tent on her own. does anyone know of any camping sites where dogs are allowed in the evening entertainment. the only one i've ever found is woolacombe sands but i would like the chance to see other parts of the country too!

Hi, I don't think there will be many that allows dogs into the entertainment area. Could you go to differentt types of sites i. e campsites without entertainment? That way your son won't be tempted. I know when our girls were younger they were just as happy going to sites without entertainment as long as there was a river or playpark and other kids.
Thanks for your reply. We do generally use sites in the summer without entertainment but at easter in a non-electric tent it's dark at 7 and pretty grim if there's no-where else to be, so was hoping that someone somewhere would take pity lol!!
Hopefully someone will know of some. Alternatively, what about a site within walking distance of a town/village that may have stuff like swimming pool, cinema etc?

The Caravan Club site in Brixham allow dogs in the bar area from which you can see the entertainment. We took our dog last year and joined in the bingo etc.
Just came back from woolacombe sands and I have to say I would definitely recommend it for dog owners it was out of this world and accessing the entertainment and bar does make a difference for us. :-)
