Hoping to visit in June this year. Has anyone been that can give me some idea what it is like. Never been before just the two of us, no children just small dog. We usually go to netherwood but it's fully booked.

It's ok, we went a couple of years ago, it's small, some seasonals. We went out of season so pool was empty. We were near play area and had a spot of bother with kids running around van and in and out of shower block until after 10. I believe pub nearby is quite good, if it is still there. A bit in the middle of nowhere for us for a site with not so many facilities. Depends on what you like though, we prefer the Plassey when staying close to home, but I think Netherwood is quite quiet? So this type of site may suit you better.
