Hi, I spent most of last night reading reviews, mostly in Dumfries region, I read about a site that had a visiting pizza van and saw photo's but I can't find it now! Does anyone have any ideas on what this site is? I'm starting to think I dreamt it!

If you go to the Islecroft camp site at Dalbeattie you are just 3 or 4 minutes walk from the pizza shop etc.

Thanks Bernie, I've just re-read my post and it sounds as if we are pizza addicts!! The site I was looking at had everything we like but when I told my 6 year old about the pizza van he decided it was the site for him haha! .......now if I could just remember the name!

You can search your browser history for the term "pizza" and will probably be able to re-find the site.

Both Internet Explorer and Firefox offer this function and I dare say Chrome will too.

The site east of Edinburgh called Drum Mhor has pizzas, but only in high season. They get good reviews, but only in high season. You can guess we went in low season.

Thanks for your replies, we've just returned from a few nights at Loch Ken, fab site and loved the Dumfries region, we'll definitely be returning.
