Thinking of Newquay next month for a weeks camping bank holiday weekend, and just wondering if anyone could recommend any decent camp sites in the area. Just me the wife and our 4 year old girl so on site swimming pool and play area would be ideal.
Cheers.
Andy.

I live in Newquay - there are loads of campsites to choose from - you need to know the sort of site you want, there are large ones, huge ones and very small ones and everything else in between!!
Take a look on the campsite search on this site - searching the area and sites with pools - you should get a good selection to choose from and reviews to go with it.
Good luck

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Just finished 10 days at hendra .......everything you could want on a family site. We have loved our stay there.
Staff visible all the time ensuring the site is lovely and tidy and that you enjoy every minute if your stay.
Don't normally go for these big sites but this one surprised us.
------------- Just LOVE the great outdoors!

Never stayed at Hendras but drove past it the other day whilst down that way and it looked very nice from the road, and certainly not too far into town from there.
Some of the touring pitches looked pretty close to the A road so not sure if noise features at all?
Hi Paul + June, please note as this is very important
Important: When posting details of a camp site, please ensure you link to their UKCampsite.co.uk listing, not direct to their website, to enable reviews etc to be read or left!
We stay in the Paddock area of Hendra which is at the back of site and takes tents and caravans, near enough to pool and facility centre but just far enough to be very peaceful and quiet. No road noise or any noise in fact in that area.

Cool - probably a useful tip if you can choose where you can pitch then, because the ones at front are pretty near the main road
