Hi, I am looking for camp site recommendations in Cornwall, sites that have easy access to a sandy beach.

We stayed at Beachside in Hayle previously, but I found the walk up from the beach too steep. It was also a July holiday, so not too busy and very relaxing.

We are 2 adults who need to holiday in August, so looking for somewhere that is not too loud and buzzy! Somewhere we can chill and relax.

Does anyone know of anywhere like this that exists.

We have stayed at adult only parks in the past, but there do not appear to be any with sea view, to enjoy the wonderful Cornish sunsets.

Anything that has direct easy access to a beach in Cornwall in August will I am afraid be inherently busy!

We have just returned from Magic Cove in Mawgan Porth but you won't get in there for August. You may want to try Marver campsite just in front of Magic Cove but in August it will be ebsuy round there.

Nice easy flat 3 minute walk to Mawgan Porth Beach with easy access

No doubt the same would be true of Gwithian Farm, but worth a try.
It is a superb site. Caravans and tents. No mobile homes or units.

Treen Farm is my pick.

Just outside Penzance.

The campsite is on a costal path which is a 5 minute walk from Porthcurno beach

A very pleasent experience, not overly "packed". Nice size pitches with a picnic bench.

To get a pitch, no reservations, you get there as early as you can in the morning and get on the list, first come, first served. All good fun.

Mother Ives Bay is the best site in Cornwall in my opinion situated above the beach. Choice of Boat Cove,Harrlyn Bay, Boobys Bay and Constantine alternative beaches within walking distance. Great walking area..

, Hi MSV4. I'm not sure whether you want to be within walking distance of the sea or whether you are happy to be a couple of miles inland and drive to a variety of beaches in the area.

If it's the latter then I suggest Willow Valley near Bude and drive from there to the various Bude beaches, to Widemouth, Sandymouth, Northcott Mouth and so on.

Thank you everyone for your help. I would love to be able to walk to the beach, but the next best thing would be a good sea view.

I love seeing the sunsets over the sea, and we would prefer not to drive off to see them.

I know it will be probably noisy but what about Pentewan Sands. Right on the beach and booking allows you to choose the pitch that is right for you.

I suggest Tregurrian at watergate bay. 5 min walk to beach/ cliff tops for sunset sea views, peaceful c and cc site.

St Ives Bay is fantastic but might be too much of a walk for you from what you said. Great place, we went last year and will be returning in Aug.

We stay at Gwithian farm fairly regularly and it may be fully booked in August, You could always try Churchtown Farm which is next door and also has easier access to the beach.
