This looks good. Only wheb its on offer though. But are dogs allowed near the lake to watch people doing activites? I know it says they arent allowed inside ANY facilities, but are they allowed to sit outside any of the eating areas? (If we eat outside)

Definitely allowed by the bar. A nice outside area directly outside the bar and I've seen them by the jet skis, but not in the water. Plenty areas nearby, and the pub outside the park has a nice eating area outside where I've seen dogs.
Sorry about the double post, age is the problem.
I'd be going myself, but have a static booked in Sheppey for next week.
What about Field head campsite at Edale?Never stayed here - but we went up Kinder Scout at Easter and the site looked really nice. There's a couple of pubs in the village (not sure if they are dog friendly - but I would expect them to be as they are in prime walking country). Other than walking there isn't much else at Edale, but Castle on and Hope are close by

Just wanted to say thank you to you for recommending this site. Got here Friday and on our way home today (stayed an extra day), its a lovely site. Shame dogs arent allowed in any part of the bar and shame there isnt a dog friendly pub nearby but the site itself is beautiful!!! Absolutely beautiful and will definitely definitely definitely be returning. The lakes are stunning. We fell on good weather!! My first EVER proper camping trip and im hooked!!!!! So just wanted to pop back on to say thank you for the recommendation.
I've just seen this post, Millerblade. You're welcome. As I said, I'd seen dogs outside the Tattershall Park pub, but never worried about them as we don't have a dog. Might see you down there in May if the beer tokens spin out enough!

Goodbye tension, hello Pension!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
