The site we are on and have been for the last 5 yrs does a service called park and use. We use our van more during the winter months but would like to move towards south lakes or north Yorkshire. Does anyone know of any sites that offer a similar service please.

Not heard of park & use. How's that different to leaving your van at a site and using it as a seasonal pitch, whereby some vans stay on the pitch all the time, others are towed there when required and stored elsewhere when not needed.

I think Tufley means sites offering a service like this as available at some C&CC sites.

Hi yes you are correct on the site we are on you are not allowed to just store your van without using it.You pay a yearly fee and your van is sited whenever you need it and you pay the nightly rate when it's in use.It works for us Best wishes Tuffty

We've just had 9 nights at Burtree Caravan Park in North Yorkshire, we really liked the site.

Talking to the owner, he said they do it for £300, the nightly rate is £20.
