Depends what you prefer... and the weather.
It was a bit breezy when we were there, but preferred to pitch along the top row (Pitch 24), looking down on the site, and the vista beyond.
Down in the dip would offer more shelter, but less views, and the very low numbers are against the high hedge, so well sheltered, but only looking back at the site.
Additionally, I think that top row we were on were probably amongst the biggest pitches, too.

Whilst the view from the other side was more...
Even allowing for the elephant grass (I believe it is called?) being a lot taller now, as I know it is, I think pitch 24, and it's neighbours, would still offer a vista over and beyond the site.
Having said that though, because of our position, we also had to put up with this...
I know, I know... we've since got a better, nicer looking one... but it's still a windbreak!!
